Rainbow Warrior's fruit were painted as apples and oranges, but their shape definitely showed that they were peaches and pears. Dick and Pat Cox (of Coxco Co.) picked his name based on the band of color on the front breast piece (rainbow) and the medieval Turkish warrior dress of his trappings (warrior).
Rainbow Warrior is avialable as a limited edition miniature carousel reproduction (by Jerry Reinhardt) through the
Riverfront Park gift shop!
